The art of painting and drawing animals by Frederick Sweeney is a book of drawing and painting animals. As you might have guessed from the title.

It has information in it on subjects like how to find the most interesting part of your page. It mostly talks about painting birds but also covers subjects thumbnailing and sketching as well as the grid method for enlarging and image.

My favorite parts of the book has to be the history lesson you get when he talks about the ancient humans as well as the the story telling he used in the book. I was definitely not bored reading it.
