How i use see perspective

I’m Thomas Schermerhorn and you’re watching another Drawing illustrations and art video.
In this video ill talk about perspective. But first I want to tell you about the drawing in the background.
It’s a thumbnail drawing for my man vs giant’s series and this is how far I’ve gotten.
Perspective is how we see things it's our view of the world or object. the key important parts of perspective are.
· The horizon line
· The vanishing point
· The foreground
· The mid-ground
· the background
·
· The horizon line
o The horizon line runs across the page. It divides the background from the mid-ground
And it’s where our vanishing points rest. In most situations.
· The vanishing point
o The vanishing point is where the eye rests or leaves the page.
I say this because most of the time the vanishing point may not be on the page.
· the background
o The background is where the horizon line divides or separates the image.
It’s the farthest thing from us.
· The mid-ground
o This is the middle ground its most likely where ill place the figure but that can depend on what I’m doing.
· The foreground
o The foreground is the closest part of the image.
· Foreshortening
o Foreshortening is when something that is closer to you that is bigger and things that are further away are smaller. Unless they overlap because smaller objects can overlap
Bigger objects.
